Cloudy slow-down

The last hour for Seth Feider has slowed down somewhat. The morning has been clear skies, bright sun and slick. But recently a cloud bank has moved in making the fishing more difficult.

“The sun makes it easier for me to see the weed clumps that I want to flip to,” Feider said. “Plus with the bright sun the bass will set up better on ideal structure. Right now they are kind of spread out, and I’m blindly flipping near my waypoints.”

Regardless, it looks as though things will clear up soon, allowing for more consistent conditions.

With the day half over, Feider still has plenty of time to add a kicker or two to his already strong limit.
