Jason Christie is obviously trying to win. That may seem like a silly statement. All these guys are trying to win. But I think Christie has a confidence thing going today.
Right now at 9:20 he has three in the boat for 11 pounds. He should have a limit. We’ve seen him catch at least three 2-pound class fish that he drops back as soon as they come aboard.
He knows they won’t help him win. And he’s likely not wanting to take the culling time when it’s 4-pounders he needs. He obviously has confidence that those bigger fish will show up.
