The Santee Cooper Lakes are changing in a hurry. Hank Cherry has seen that with his own eyes. Cherry had four keepers weighing 16 pounds, including a 6-pounder, at 10:30. But that’s nothing compared to what he’s seeing in an area where there were no bedding bass on Tuesday.
“I’ve been looking at a 7 and a 9,” Cherry said. “I’ve got a long time and a lot of water to look at. Today in this area all the sudden the beds are everywhere.”
