Greg Hackney is really one of the most colorful, quotable guys on the Elite series. Backstage yesterday, after weighing 20-2 and moving into first place, he was in full bloom describing his day. But then media members started peppering him with questions about tomorrow, and Saturday (How will you handle Bassmaster University if you are in lead?) and how the AOY race will play out this summer. Hackney got a little exasperated. “Fellas I can’t see beyond the end of my nose,” he said. That might just be the best way to say he’s focused on fishing the moment.
