Blaylock has time on his side

While Scott Canterbury has taken a 3-pound lead over Stetson Blaylock, according to BASSTrakk, Blaylock still has one distinct advantage over Canterbury and the other anglers who made the long run to Charleston Bay and the Cooper River. They’ll have to head back to Georgetown soon for the 3:15 p.m. check-in time. Blaylock has lots of fishing time left.

“I can actually make it back in about 18 minutes,” Blaylock said yesterday. “I’ve been giving myself 30, just to be safe.”
