It’s a chilly start to Elite #1 on Cherokee Lake. Currently 33 degrees and and the weatherman says it will stay in the 30s today. But that’s what we expected for February in East Tennessee. I had the good fortune to borrow an ice fishing suit from my mate Thomas Allen, so I’m warm and toasty, except for my face.
We drove 200 yards from the ramp and have passed eight anglers. We’ve seen a few catches already. Some guys are fishing deep, some shallow. Most are working to figure out the bite.
