Clifford Pirch has just landed his second keeper. Total he’s hovering around 6 pounds.
That’s a bit of a change as well for today. He was one of the last to put a fish in the boat yesterday. And the only one to stay here most of the day.
He really poured on the coals late in the day. By sticking with it, he put together a “crazy, good bag,” himself.
His longevity on this place may have allowed him to unlock a few extra pieces of the puzzle.
Now Chris Johnston has brought his first keeper on board. This one comes, as all of them have, with a lengthy battle. On a drift with other boats that can cause issues. Pirch had to move out of his way during the battle. And DiPalma stopped his drift to keep from getting in between Johnston and our cameras so we could get the shot.
Did I mention sportsmanship and an amiable attitude amongst these men?
