We switched over to Brandon Palaniuk who won this event a couple of seasons ago.
A lot of guys are on the bank. Palaniuk is mostly not. He’s keeping some of that bank fishing honest but for the most part, he’s a long way from the bank.
He just caught the reason for that shift from most of the anglers buzzing down the bank. He caught about a 6 pounder that gives him four in the well.
He says he has two more close to that and then a smaller one.
That should put him in that 18- to 20-pound range and likely in the lead at the moment.
He still has a fish left to fill out his limit. One that will certainly put him over 20. Another big one to go with three he has and he could be building something special.
