This flat we are sitting on the edge of has a few anglers milling about.
They include Paquette, Lee Livesay, Luke Palmer, Scott Canterbury and Chad Pipkens.
We’ve decided to stay on the edge for now. Some are fishing the bank. Others are moving around and hitting depressions and isolated clumps of grass.
It appears there might be some hydrilla there. And Paquette just caught another. This one in the 2-pound range.
Just since we’ve watched him. We know he has two that total somewhere around 3 1/2 pounds. He’s not culling so we aren’t sure what he has to go with them.
