Julius Mazy

My name is Julius Mazy, I am a full-time guide for the Hook-Up Outfitters and Bassmaster Opens angler from Phoenix, Ariz. A little background, I was born in Cancun, Mexico and learned to fish there, moved to Phoenix at a young age from Florida where I fished bass ponds. In Arizona I was introduced to tournament bass fishing through the Phoenix Bassmaster Jr. Club. I worked my way through the ranks of Juniors and High school fishing and was selected as one of the first 12 to make the Bassmaster High School All-American team. It's an experience I will never forget. I then fished every team or pro-am event I could get into. Fresh out of high school got a job guiding for The Hook up Outfitters and I’ve been a full-time guide in Arizona since then. I’m now pursuing my dream on the Bassmaster Opens trail to qualify for Elite Series.
