Mike McKinnis
Vice President – Executive Producer, Media Content
JM Associates, Inc.
Mike McKinnis is Vice President and Executive Producer of Media Content at JM Associates, a powerhouse production company based in Little Rock, Arkansas, that has been shaping the landscape of outdoor and adventure television for more than three decades. Since joining JM in 1990, McKinnis has helped lead the company’s transformation into one of the most respected producers of outdoor programming in the country, including all live and posted Bassmaster programs.
After an early career in Nashville’s music scene and studies at Belmont University, McKinnis found his true calling behind the camera — where storytelling, competition, and the natural world converge. Today, he oversees all television and digital video content for JM Associates, managing hundreds of hours of annual programming across ESPN, FOX Sports, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, Nat Geo, and other major networks.
With a sharp creative eye and a deep understanding of the sporting spirit, McKinnis has played an integral role in the development and success of nationally acclaimed series and docuseries spanning professional bass fishing, timber sports, aviation, and collegiate athletics. His work consistently blends authenticity with cinematic production values, creating content that resonates with passionate niche audiences and broad sports fans alike.
Mike lives in Roland, Arkansas, just outside of Little Rock, with his wife Pamela Kay. He is the proud father of two adult children, Damon and Elena, both of whom reside in Studio City, California.
