Shimano Clarus
Nearly every line of Shimano rods received an upgrade this year, and the Clarus is no exception. The graphite has been upgraded from IM7 to IM8 which translates to a lighter, more sensitive and "crisp" feeling rod. It's also made with aluminum oxide guides and a threadless reel capture that makes long days on the water more comfortable.
