Elite Series pro Kota Kiriyama doesn’t just take it easy during the offseason; he puts on big tournaments in his home country of Japan.
Kota is now in his third year of “Kota’s American Dream,” a tournament that attracted 160 Japanese anglers to Kintaura . Here are some photos of the event but, unless you know Japanese, the captions may prove challenging. Kota is dedicated to bringing B.A.S.S. to Japan, and in this case, swag from the Elite anglers. Several Elites such as Cliff Pace, KVD, Ike, Kevin Short, Gerald Swindle, Fletcher Shryock, Derek Remitz and more gave items to Kota to be given out as prizes to the Japanese anglers.
