One of the small problems with this pattern is the amount of times you get hung up.
There are stumps literally everywhere just under the surface that you don’t spot until you get right on top of them or run into one with your jerkbait, and sometimes your trolling motor.

Jake said that he is doing what a lot of other anglers are doing to catch decent fish; but there is a lot of pressure from other BASS anglers, locals and even the resident bald eagles and ospreys are getting into the shallow water action.
