Andrew Madison shared this photo of the 2016 Classic at Grand Lake, OK. “I was working the Costa booth as a college angler for the University of Central Oklahoma and I got to talk to all the Costa pros. As some of my friends and I were talking to Jacob Powroznik, I mentioned I wanted to meet Mike Iaconelli so Powroznik said “Follow me” after a long search for him, Ike had a long line of fans waiting to meet him but Jacob just took us right to the front to meet him and get a great picture with him also. Awesome Experience, can’t wait to go back!”

It was so exciting being in the middle of the weigh in action. It was our First Classic!!! We had lots of fun and enjoyed seeing all the pros, and vendors. Dawn Culpepper shared this photo, and she wrote, “We have been taking our son to Classics since he was 5. At his 2nd Classic in Birmingham in 2007 he was so excited to meet Ish Monroe. He had watched him win on Lake Amistad with a white tube. We managed to wait outside the arena before the weigh in and he got to meet him. He talked to him for the longest about that lure and the fish he caught on it. Ish was so awesome to him. He made a fan for life. My son is now a Senior in Highschool and will be attending University of Montevallo on a four year fishing scholarship! Meeting Ish that day made a huge impression on him. This will forever be one of my favorite pictures!”
