The Carhartt Bassmaster College Series altered the format of the events for 2018 and created a Tour where events don't restrict participants to regions so now any team can compete at any Tour event.

Carhartt has a video competition for College anglers to compete throughout the year and the best video explaining what college fishing means to them. The videos are voted on by Bassmaster host Mark Zona and Elite Series anglers Terry Scroggins and Matt and Jordan Lee. The winners get to fish with the Lee brothers for a few days as a reward!
