Meet the Texas Fest Judges

At the 2017 Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest benefiting the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Judges will be in the boats with all 109 competitors. How are Judges different from Marshals? Well the Judge will actually weigh the fish in the boat, using portable scales. The Judge will then immediately release the bass back into the waters of Sam Rayburn. Each angler can keep his largest fish, if it is over 21 inches, to show off at the weigh-in. The roster of Judges is an elite group. They need to have experience from previous Toyota Texas Bass Classics, be a B.A.S.S. Nation member or have served as a Marshal during a Bassmaster tournament.
