As Chris Zaldain was moving in on an area, 2 guys were fishing near the spot Chris was moving to.
Both guys had “tourney” jerseys and the captain said “hang on, I’ll move off while you fish through.”
Come to find out, they were also in a tournament but yielded to The Elites. Ironically Chris caught a keeper and culled right where they were, gaining him a much needed ounce or two.
Thanks guys. Wish we would have gotten their names for a “shout out!” Great guys.

Cliff Crochet decided to make a 30 minute run and swing for the fences knowing he needs a good bag to stay in it tomorrow. In 30 minutes he’s put several in the boat to improve his chances. He’s definitely around good fish for the first time today.

This is the size he has been looking for! A solid 5-pounder for Keith Poche’s 4th keeper.

Things are starting to look better by the minute. Now he’s looking for one or two kickers.
