Bradley Roy is beaming a couple of bass. He uses a weight management culling system, but he still likes to check to be sure. He told his Marshal, “a couple of ounces might get me up another place or two.” That is a $500 decision at this level of competition.

Tommy has one small keeper since the lost one earlier. This fish was too small, although the camera angle puts on weight. Tommy says he just needs to keep moving till he finds them grouped up.

Cliff has continued doing what’s worked for him the last three days in the same area. He’s throwing a Spro frog, white/chartreuse spinnerbait, and a plastic swim bait. His only bite and catch so far was on the spinnerbait at 1lb 14oz earlier this morning. He said that was his earliest catch of all the days but he hasn’t had a bite since then today. Here’s a picture of what the area looks like. This bank is along a rail road track and runs over a mile long. Lots of big rock and wood laydowns.

...“They are high percentage areas. There are a lot of bass on the gravel flats, but the ledges hold bigger fish. They use the deep water as their cover.
