High School: Toledo Bend registration

Official check-in for the Mossy Oak Bassmaster High School Central Open presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods was held on a dreary Saturday afternoon at Cypress Bend Park on Toledo Bend in northwest Louisiana. The high school anglers’ registration was supposed to take place after the final weigh-in of the Carhartt College Central Tour presented by Bass Pro Shops, but fog canceled that tournament action. That meant the younger anglers, their coaches and families had the marina to themselves on Saturday afternoon. A crowd of well more than 1,000 people were on hand to register for the event that will be held on this famed fishery Sunday.

The only thing that could possibly get in the way tomorrow is more of the fog that plagued the college tournament on Saturday. The high schoolers are hoping the fog move out so it’s “All Systems Go” Sunday morning.
