High School anglers weigh in

Bassmaster had another important tournament taking place today. We had 12 high school teams fishing on Lake Houston in the Costa Bassmaster High School Classic presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods. The competitors weighed in on the big Bassmaster Classic stage at Minute Maid Park today. Lake Houston is just 15 miles from downtown and is a reservoir of the San Jacinto River.

The first team to weigh in, the Southside Anglers, from Indiana had one fish for 2 pounds 2 ounces. Blake Albertson and Dillan White.

Next up Blanchard High School from Oklahoma had no keepers today. Nolan Wright and Coltin Pool.

Sam Houston High School from Louisiana had three fish for 6 pounds 3 ounces. Hunter Courvelle and Alex Erickson.

Front Range Bass Club from Colorado had two fish for 4 pounds 2 ounces. Ty Keller and Clay Capilla.

Clinton High School from Tennessee had one fish for 1 pound 5 ounces. Christian White and Blake Pemberton.

Douglass High School from Texas had no keepers today. Kyle Mach and Joseph Bruener.

Assumption High School from Louisiana had 3 fish for 5 pounds 11 ounces. Carter Pourciau and Zackary Naquin.

North Augusta Fishing Team from South Carolina had two fish for 6 pounds 2 ounces. Kyler McKie and Michael Burch.

Oak Grove High School from Mississippi had four fish for 7 pounds 8 ounces. Blake Broome and Griffin Gatwood.

Benton High School from Illinois had five fish for 10 pounds 5 ounces. Cody Miles and Jordan Bowlin.

Livingston Parish Bassmasters from Louisiana had four fish for 9 pounds. Justin Watts and Alex Heintz.

And the champions are… Benton High School from Illinois! Cody Miles and Jordan Bowlin.
