Walker likes that the wind has started to blow and makes a move back to Smallmouth fishing. 1st cast is an upgrade and a bigger one gets off about 6 casts later. The last hour should be interesting.

What does David Walker do when Champlain slicks off and the Smallmouth shut down? He swaps a few rods, runs a few miles, and starts hammering nice Largemouth. 2 solid upgrades in 10 minutes!

Chris has found a motherload of good brown fish…they’re coming in the boat so fast…it’s ‘estimate’ style culling. We’re watching a huge school swim around the boat.

Brown bass number four for the Hack Attack. A good morning so far.

David Walker makes a big upgrade! He’s around a ton of fish, just needs to wade through ’em and keep culling.

Walker is able to celebrate and take his first breath in about 3 minutes after an epic battle which started with this brute swimming straight up into the bottom of the boat. It sounded and felt similar to bouncing off a stump. These SM are always thinking of new ways to try and get the hook out!
