College Central Tour’s shortened outcome

The final day of the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Central Tour presented by Bass Pro Shops on Toledo Bend started off with gloomy conditions as rain bore down on the lake as anglers launched.

Because over half of the day was lost due to heavy fog, the day was canceled and the Day 2 standings were now the final results.

That meant Caiden Sinclair and Hunter Gibson of the University of Alabama would place 3rd with 38-3 for two days, which was in large part to their Day 2 performance of 22-11.

Meanwhile the Day 1 leaders of Tyler Craig and Spencer Lambert of Louisiana-Monroe would finish in 2nd place with 41-1 after registering two 20-pound bags.

This is their second 2nd place finish in as many years. They placed 2nd at Sam Rayburn in 2017.

The winners of the week were Hunter DeSplinter and Conner Choate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. They caught 25-9 on Day 2 and it featured a 10-0 Big Bass of the event.
