The Day 2 Classic weigh-in began with Bassmaster’s Ronnie Moore honoring Clay Dyer of Fayetteville, Tenn., calling him, “An inspiration to us all.” Dyer has fished the Bassmaster Opens since 2012 despite his physical limitations.
Dyer and Moore award the first C.A.S.T. for Kids B.A.S.S. Humanitarian Award to Chris Rambough of Meridian, Idaho. Rambough has been involved with C.A.S.T. for Kids for decades, and created youth programs for the Payette River Bassmasters.
