The fan-favorite Bassmaster Classic Outdoor Expo presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods will be held Friday through Sunday, March 15-17, in the Knoxville Convention Center and the adjacent World’s Fair Exhibition Hall, which is being newly renovated this spring.

Tournament waters will include the Tennessee River in downtown Knoxville. This is the first time in it's 49 year history that the Super Bowl of Bass Fishing will be held in Knoxville.

Morning take-offs will be from Volunteer Landing on the Tennessee River. The "Vol Navy" uses this part of the river for pre-game festivities on University of Tennessee football weekends.

The Fort Loudon Dam on the Tennessee River will serve as one of the boundaries for Classic tournament waters. The dam was built by TVA in the early 1940s.

Classic competitors will be able to use a short canal from Fort Loudon Lake to get into Tellico Lake. This is the Chilhowee Dam, it sits at the very back of Tellico and will serve as another boundary for Classic waters.

Tournament waters include Fort Loudoun and Tellico lakes, twin reservoirs connected by a canal and comprising about 30,000 acres. Competitors can fish either lake and anywhere along the Tennessee River upstream from Fort Loudoun Dam to the Interstate 40 bridge on the Holston River and the Highway 168 bridge on the French Broad River.

The University of Tennessee Rowing Club also has a facility on Volunteer Landing. That's the Thompson Boling Arena in the background. It will be the location for the 2019 Bassmaster Classic weigh-ins.
