Flying above the crowd on the Big O

Fishing in a crowd gets redefined as up to 80 boats gathered in one vast area of Lake Okeechobee.

Here’s the scene in the Harney Pond area of Lake Okeechobee on Feb. 2, 2024 at the St. Croix Bassmaster Open at Lake Okeechobee presented by SEVIIN.
I arrived there at 8 a.m. and already around 60 boats were spread out across the shallow flats.
I stayed long enough to capture the action before moving around to the background of this photo to locate anther group.
When I returned around 9:30 there were up to 80 boats in the area; in the open water and surrounding inside reed areas.
