Santone signs Zaldains

Santone Lures has added Chris and Trait Zaldain to their pro-staff for 2018. Santone is a Texas-based lure manufacturer known for their quality jigs and customer service.

Chris admits he’s been secretly flipping Santone’s jigs on tour the last few years and emphasized, “whether it’s a hardbait, jig or spinnerbait, there are two things I look for while selecting my tournament fishing lures: attention to detail and quality components.” He noted, “Santone uses the finest hooks, skirts, and hardware in their baits, and that alone gives me an extra confidence while competing against the best anglers on tour.”

The Zaldain’s don’t agree on much, but both agree that Santone is the best jig company in the business and believe they can help take the company to the next level. “Santone is a staple in Texas. I’d say 9 out of 10 bass boats on Lake Fork and Rayburn have their football jig or one of their swim jigs or spinnerbaits in their boat,” Trait said. “We are happy to be able to show the rest of the country what Santone does best. You won’t find another jig company who cares about their product as much as Santone does. Chris and me don’t agree on much, but this company we do agree on.”

Kathy Vaught, owner of Santone Lures, said on signing the Zaldain’s, “we are excited to have Chris and Trait on board with Santone Lures.  Their addition strengthens our already solid pro-staff.  We are honored the Zaldain’s believe in our products enough to partner with us.  We’re looking forward to a great year and the many possibilities it will bring.”
