If you're a fan of tournament fishing, there's been a lot to watch and a lot to like about the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2012. Now, with just one event remaining in the season, I thought I'd share a few of the things that I think are making this year a fascinating one.

Detroit’s aquarium

It’s the Monday evening before the second Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Northern Open at the Detroit River, and I’m writing this from a Motel 8 in Sterling Heights, Mich. Today I fished an area of Lake St. Clair that could have been an aquarium.

On gambling and moving
