Wrapping up a couple of things I know, or think I know, from the 2013 Bassmaster Classic.
I was not at the 2013 Bassmaster Classic but I followed every minute of it online. It looked to me like this was the most organized and put together one that I have ever experienced. And what an exciting finish.
The world championship bass fishing tournament recorded the second highest attendance for the three competition days in the event’s 43-year history.
Bassmaster fans are known to travel, and they came from all over the country to see the 43rd Bassmaster Classic at Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees.
Being able to say you caught the biggest bass in the Bassmaster Classic is a huge honor. And Mark Pierce is the one person who can say that for 2013.
Think of your favorite sports team, and a logo is probably the first image that comes to mind. Bass fishing has its own set of widely recognized logos, and they were on full display at the 2013 Bassmaster Classic.
What about the fish that might have made a difference if only they'd made it to the livewell?
Ike might have similar taste in music and clothing to his younger peers, but placed in perspective he’s the grizzled veteran.
I’m passing the title off to a good man. That makes it a lot easier to deal with.
