Bid today for fishing gifts and a good cause

The Holiday Tackle Box and Lures includes sunglasses, soft plastics, hooks, a gift card and a T-shirt.

If you’re in the market for a fishing gift for a low price that also benefits a good cause, today is your day!

Recycled Fish has been auctioning off multiple items as part of a fundraising effort, and the company shares 20% of the proceeds of each item with another worthy organization. Today, the Holiday Tackle Box and Lures benefits B.A.S.S. Conservation.

In its marketing, Recycled Fish points out that B.A.S.S. Conservation’s top priority is protection and enhancement of aquatic resources, from the local bass clubs to the national level. B.A.S.S. Conservation is proud to be a partner with Recycled Fish.

The Holiday Tackle Box and Lures is valued at $350, and the opening bid on eBay is $99. Included in the Flambeau Large Tackle Station are a Fishhound.com T-shirt, Strike King tubes and chunks, Ono’s sunglasses, Sebile Magic Swimmers, FoodSource Lures Earthworms, Castalia Bombshell Turtles, Tru-Turn hooks, a $5 Dick’s Sporting Goods bonus certificate and multiple other items.

“Bid early and bid often,” said Teeg Stouffer, executive director and founder of Recycled Fish, “because when you win a Holiday Tackle Box Auction, our waters win, too.”

Bidding ends tomorrow, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
