Attend the 2018 Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest Benefiting Texas Parks and Wildlife Department

The Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest benefitting the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department begins on Wednesday, May 17 and it will be an unique tournament for B.A.S.S. with anglers having a judge in the boat with them that will weigh, record, and release the fish instead of bringing the best five back to the scales at the end of the day. Anglers will be able to bring their largest bass to the stage, if it's over 21 inches.

The Bassmaster Elite Series is coming to Lake Travis in Jonestown, Texas on May 17-20!

Takeoff

The public is welcome for an early morning look at 110 of the best bass anglers in the world beginning their day on Lake Travis. Takeoff will begin with the national anthem at 6:15 a.m. CT.  The location for the takeoff is Jones Brothers Park. The address is 10301 Lakeside Dr., Jonestown, TX 78645 

Weigh-ins

After a day on the water, watch the Elite Series anglers weigh in their catches on stage with B.A.S.S. emcee Dave Mercer and Tournament Director Trip Weldon. Weigh-ins are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m CT at the same location as takeoff, Jones Brothers Park.

A fun activity on Saturday and Sunday featuring:

  • A kids fishing pond where children have a chance to catch catfish

  • A chance to meet Shakespeare expert anglers

Bassmaster University

Seminars taught by Bassmaster Elite pros will cover a variety of topics related to fishing including techniques, gear, electronics and more. Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT.
