BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The pros are throwing down some big incentives to get fans to vote them into Toyota All-Star Week, Sept. 27-29 on Michigan’s Muskegon Lake. There’s no place that was more evident than today in the B.A.S.S. All-Star Twitter chat.
Of the 99 pros in the Bassmaster Elite Series, only 10 are currently qualified for the event. The remaining four berths in the competition go to the pros with the most votes in the Toyota All-Star Fan Favorite Angler Sweepstakes.
Pros got an opportunity today to talk directly to the fans in the Twitter chat. In the transcript below, you’ll see that some pros (Jason Christie, Randy Howell and Kevin Hawk) are offering to donate some or all of their All-Star winnings to charity if voted in, and many others are offering fishing trips and gear to fans. Cliff Crochet even said “no more taxes” if he gets the vote.
You get to vote every day until Sept. 6, so be sure your favorite anglers are voted in!
