Mark Menendez of Paducah, Ky., returned to the Elite Series in 2015 from a two-year hiatus after his beloved wife, Donna, lost her battle with cancer. He made the money in six of the nine tournaments and claims that he caught most of his bass using what he calls “stupid easy” fishing tactics.“Now that I’m getting older, I’m finding ways to catch bass without causing more stress injuries than I already have from years of competitive fishing,” Menendez said.
