Catching bass offshore and being sneaky about it

North Carolina’s Bryan New, the 2020 Falcon Rods Bassmaster Opens Angler of the Year, is on the cutting edge of today’s remarkable fishing technology. He has six graphs mounted on his bass boat: three on the bow and three on the console. Without them, he would not have won the AOY title and earned an invitation to become a Bassmaster Elite Series pro.

Despite his success and know-how, New is unlikely to be sponsored by any company that makes fishing electronics. That’s because he relies on graphs made by Garmin, Humminbird and Lowrance to take advantage of the best technologies he believes each of these brands has to offer.
