WATKINSVILLE, GA — Zoom Bait Company has released the Rock-N-Roll Minnow, a 4.8-inch soft plastic minnow that features a streamlined baitfish profile, a forked tail, and a built-in lip that produces a rolling, quivering action on a steady retrieve.

The bait is designed for finesse presentations in clear water and on pressured fisheries including the forward-facing sonar (FFS) techniques that have grown rapidly across competitive bass fishing in recent years. It also fishes effectively rigged weightless, on a light swimbait jighead, on a scrounger head, or weedless on an offset hook.

Zoom Pro and Bassmaster Elite Series angler Caleb Hudson fished a prototype Rock-N-Roll Minnow during the recent Elite Series event at the Arkansas River, where he finished 8th. He caught a significant portion of his weight on the bait and ran out of his supply during competition.

“You can pretty much straight reel it, and it’s going to roll easier than anything you’ve ever seen,” Hudson said. “It’s a super nasty bait.”

The Rock-N-Roll Minnow comes with Zoom’s Super Salt Plus formula and is currently available in three colors and comes five to a pack in a clamshell packaging.
