WHAT IS IT?
Millennium B-301 Boat Seat
WHAT SETS IT APART?
Boat seats have looked pretty much the same for decades. You either get a traditional bucket seat with a backrest or a small triangular leaning seat. While they get the job done, they’re often bulky, heavy and eventually lose their cushioning over time. Millennium took a fresh approach with the B-301 by designing a seat that’s lighter, more versatile and built specifically for long days on the water.
The B-301 features a heavy-duty, powder-coated aluminum frame that supports up to 400 pounds while keeping overall weight to a minimum. Instead of traditional foam, Millennium uses a durable ComfortMAX mesh that provides excellent ventilation, dries quickly after rain or spray and won’t become scorching hot after sitting in the summer sun.
Its biggest advantage is versatility. Whether you prefer to lean while fishing, straddle the seat while running the trolling motor, or sit down during a long run or while graphing offshore structure, the B-301 adapts to all three without sacrificing comfort. Another nice feature is that it mounts to standard boat seat pedestals, making it an easy upgrade for most bass boats without requiring any special hardware or modifications.

HOW DO I USE IT?
I spend most of my day standing while fishing, so having a comfortable place to lean makes a huge difference, especially when fishing offshore or spending hours staring at electronics. The B-301 gives you a stable place to rest without feeling confined to a traditional seat.

What I like most is how many different ways you can use it. The wide seating surface is incredibly comfortable for leaning, but it also works great when you want to sit down for a few minutes or straddle it while working the trolling motor. The breathable mesh stays noticeably cooler than a traditional vinyl seat and dries quickly after rain or an early morning run across the lake.
Since it fits standard boat seat pedestals, swapping it onto your boat is quick and easy. When the water gets rough, having a supportive seat isn’t just a luxury — it helps you stay focused and fish effectively instead of constantly trying to brace yourself.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT
Most bass anglers spend far more time standing than sitting, so it’s easy to overlook how much difference a quality leaning seat can make. After using the B-301, I found myself leaning on it much more than I expected. It reduces fatigue throughout the day, whether you’re using forward-facing sonar, battling waves or simply taking a rest. It’s one of those upgrades you don’t realize you needed until you’ve spent a full day fishing with it.
