Gear Review: Great Lakes Finesse Juvy Craw

The new Juvy Craw features natural buoyancy and lifelike action.

WHAT IS IT?

Great Lakes Finesse Juvy Craw

WHAT SETS IT APART?

A 2.5-inch hybrid tube bait that resembles the appearance, size and action of a juvenile crawfish. Floating claws and tentacles with a body in a natural matte finish. Tear resistant to last when time matters in keeping the bait in play in the midst of a smallmouth school feeding frenzy.

HOW DO I USE IT?

Pair it with the compatible Great Lakes Finesse Mini Pro Tube Head. When the tube head is pushed into the hollow body cavity, the hook shank sits between the two tentacles. That design allows the hook to blend in, and makes the bait sit upright on the bottom. As well, the upward hook positioning provides solid hooksets into the roof of the mouth of a bass.

The Juvy Craw has the right amount of buoyancy with its floating arms and body, with the claws facing menacingly in front of the fish. Slow dragging on the bottom and swimming through the water column are ideal presentations.
