It’s Saturday morning, the second competition day of the Dakota Lithium Bassmaster Elite at Lake Champlain.
When I shot this gallery, the winds were shifting from southerly directions to the west, which is much more favorable for fishing in the Inland Sea.
Boat positioning will be much easier, compared to the strong southeast wind that created rough conditions on Thursday.
This was a turbulent scene on Thursday as gusty winds turned this location into a marginally-fishable area.
As you can see, the scene was much different at 8:30 a.m.
