Hudnall’s huge day in New York

At the midpoint of the day, Derek Hudnall has hovering around the Top 10 on BassTrakk, and made a major jump in the last couple hours of fishing.
The Louisiana pro locked a casting rod in his hands and covered water.
Hudnall boated this solid keeper, but unfortunately it didn’t help.
Hudnall boats another keeper, but yet again a fish that wouldn’t cull.
After working his way down the bank about 50 yards, Hudnall hooks up with a giant.
If you can’t tell by the look on his face, Hudnall was having fun this afternoon.
A quick fist pump, and Hudnall culls out his smallest fish.
Just as we were idling away to leave, Hudnall hooks up with another giant smallmouth.
This fish would put Hudnall in second place on BassTrakk at the time.
Hudnall went on to record 25-2 on Day 1.
