Jacob Wheeler didn't catch another fish after the 4-pounder during his last stop, so he's moved south past the nukes and the wide grid of power lines to the "Hammer Hole" or "Hammerhead Hole," as he's called it.
This is the place that saved his day Saturday — where two bass totaled 12 pounds of his 16-pound day.
"I've caught an 8-15 and two 7 1/2s there this week," Wheeler said.
And he just added another big fish here — a 15-pound catfish.
Wheeler has 19 pounds of bass. His two smallest weigh 2.73 and 3 pounds.
