The first angler we set eyes on today is Chris Dillow of Virginia. He got to the Classic by winning the Northern Open on James River. This is his first Classic. You could also say he’s from Munich, Germany. As detailed in Mike Suchan’s awesome Daily Limit, now sitting on the homepage, Dillow and his twin brother were left on the steps of an orphanage there, and later adopted by an American couple. There are many paths the Classic, but his is truly amazing. Oh and by the way, Dillow just caught a hefty drum.
