In a tournament where a 12-pounder was caught on Day 1 and there have been numerous 7- and 8-pounders weighed-in, some little bitty bass are making a big difference as we close in on the final hours of Day 3.
Aaron Martens landed a 1-pounder and a 1-7 to fill out his limit and move within ounces of leader Justin Lucas. Then Lucas finally caught his fifth keeper – a 3-pounder – to stretch his lead again.
No matter what happens the rest of the way, anyone finishing in the Top 12 for Sunday's final day will have a shot at winning this event.
