It’s a different lake for Pace

As the man who finished second the last time the Classic was at Lake Hartwell in 2008, Cliff Pace is considered to be one of the favorites this year. But Pace hasn't seen any advantages so far.

"It's a different lake," Pace said. "It was a lot lower then. I found a couple of things that I was able to take advantage of, but those aren't in play with the lake level where it is now."

Pace is usually a confident tournament angler, but he didn't sound that way Thursday at media day.

"I've got two different things working in two different areas," Pace said. "But with the weather coming in this weekend, I've got a lot of questions in my mind about how that's going to change things"
