Hackney’s fish getting bigger

Greg Hackney made a short move north about 20 minutes ago, and caught his seventh fish of the day at 11:25. As he lipped the 3-pounder, he said, "It may not help."

And it didn't.

"I might have misjudged them," Hackney said of his fish in the livewell. "Either that or they've been eating something in there. I didn't realize they were all that big."

I promise you, James Overstreet, Ken Golub and I haven't been big-eyeing Hackney's fish today, and we've seen all seven. If anything, 21 pounds is a conservative estimate of his total.
