Chris Zaldain finished 13th in both the 2019 and 2020 Elite Series tournaments at Lake Fork. He’s making a move to finish better than that this week on a lake that would seem to fit his style. Zaldain, the native Californian who now calls nearby Fort Worth home, caught the 6-15 pictured here at 12:35 p.m. He added a 6-6 at 1:49 that has jumped him up to 7th place with 25-2.
As expected, Lake Fork is cranking out the numbers today. At 2 p.m., there were 8 anglers with 25 pounds or better and 29 anglers with at least 20 pounds.
