The question has been ask by none other than Steve Wright, “Why is Edwin Evers Fishing the Elk River today? He fished the Neosho River yesterday.”
Well I just happen to be in the boat with an Edwin Evers expert, his father-in-law Terry Butcher, also of Talala, Oklahoma. Terry tells us that Edwin caught a good one up here in practice, but conditions weren’t right until today to come back. More specifically the condition he’s talking about is wind. It is blowing like a son of a you know what now.
Edwin Evers has put together the right strategy on the right day. Could he find a better time than Day 3 of the Classic?
