Brad Whatley has a two-pronged approach on the Arkansas River today. The Bassmaster Elite Series pro from Bivins, Texas, locked down to Kerr Lake this morning, and he plans to be back in the lock for the scheduled 11:45 a.m. lock-through. So far, so good. Whatley has four keepers that weigh about 8 pounds.
Initially he was going to stay in the takeoff pool at Muskogee and fish the main river. But Whatley has decided to do a little of both, spending the last two hours of his day on his original game plan.
