What this fish means

The attached fish meant alot. I flew over from Australia to Orlando, roughly 28 hours from when I left home. I was meeting Andrew, I person whom I know through Instagram and had never met in real life and didn’t actually know what be looked like. When he picked me up we travelled to our Air BnB in a trailer park.

The next day involved picking up a borrowed boat from Terry, who prior to the Nation Championship I did not know either. Terry loaned his Nitro to two people he did not know and one who doesn’t even come from this country. We then travelled to another friend’s house to pick up all my tackle that had been shipped all around the country. By the time we got back to our Air BnB we had been travelling all day, some quick organising of tackle and boat and we were off to bed.

Back to the attached fish, it was a windy morning so I decided to hit some grass early and within 20 minutes of being on the water landed the biggest bass I have ever caught in the U.S.A.

I think it’s incredible how amazing the bass community is, that I can travel so far and rely on people I barely know.
