Kyle Welcher is suddenly a very excited angler. That’s because he just caught a 4-pounder that he cast to with his wacky-rigged “gray worm,” as he calls it. Suddenly, he’s within two pounds of the lead, according to BassTrakk.
“I love sight-fishing more than anything in the world,” Welcher said. “I’m a little jacked up right now. I’ve thrown this gray worm in front of 200 fish this week and zero have bit, until that one. We’ve got a chance now.”
