Turnover time?

There is movement on the BASSTrakk leaderboard as evidenced by Brock Mosely moving inside the top 10. Just outside of it are Chad Morgenthaler (9th) and Rick Clunn (13th).

What that could mean are two things. First, the shad spawn, for those keying on the bite, could be ending as the day progresses. Second, the replinishing factor for some anglers might be depleted. For others, Mosely and peers included, they could be on to a new pattern.

This Ross Barnett event is very important for Mosely, fishing his second season on the Bassmaster Elite Series. Mosely came up through the college ranks, fishing for the University of Mississippi bass fishing team. He did well, and upon graduation entered the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Opens.

Mosely has 39 tour events on his B.A.S.S. resume, with an impressive 16 times in the money. He’s fished Ross Barnett for about 9 years. Performing well here will give him an important confidence boost for the remainder of the season.
